Job Description: Foreman – Sea Port Operations (Qatar) Indian Visa is available! Immediate hiring!
We are seeking an experienced foreman to handle activities at a major seaport in Qatar. The ideal applicant should have substantial experience in port operations and leadership, notably managing stevedores and port workers.
Responsibilities include supervising stevedores and managing port operations properly.
• Comply with Customs Authority directives and ensure that all tasks run well.
• Oversee 24/7 operations, including Al Baida workforce and equipment.
• Key duties:
Include breaking seals and unlocking container doors.
• Unloading, packing, and restuffing cargo (Palletizing and Un-Palletizing).
• Closing and resealing containers after examination.
• Ensure that all activities are recorded and reported to authorities.
• Clean and maintain terminals, especially the inspection area.
• Managing vessel and yard activities such as loading, unloading, receiving, and delivery.
• Controlling the opening and closing of inspection shed rollers and gates.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by port operations management.
• Roasting and Shift regulation: Organize shift rosters, and manage and regulate employees.
• Reporting: Provide regular updates to government authorities and company officers.
Requirements: • Demonstrated experience as a Foreman or comparable role, ideally in seaport or container terminal operations.
• The ability to lead a diverse team and work in a fast-paced, 24-hour workplace.
Compensation and Benefits:
• Salary: 2,500 QAR per month.
• Working hours: 12-hour shifts with one day off each week.

Job Summary:
Under the direction of department managers, the maintenance technician is in charge of carrying out standard maintenance and minor repairs on corporate equipment. This entry-level position will assist in maintaining the safe and effective operation of all port equipment.
Technician for Maintenance:
Will also help with preventative maintenance, identifying mechanical problems, and ensuring the workspace is tidy. Principal Duties: Help the Electrical and Mechanical Technicians: To obtain practical experience and develop your mechanical and electrical skills, collaborate closely with mechanical and electrical technicians.
Repairing and diagnosing:
Assist with minor mechanical repairs under the supervision of Senior Technicians, such as brake replacements, part installations, and common vehicle diagnostics. Maintain Work Area: Keep the repair bay or work area clean, organized, and stocked with the required tools and supplies. Assist in the tracking and inventory management of components and resources.
Documentation:
Keep accurate records of maintenance chores, inspections, and repairs completed. Assist in updating vehicle maintenance logs.
Qualifications:
Education: A high school diploma or equivalent. Technical training or certification in vehicle repair or a similar industry is beneficial.
Experience: Prior experience is not required, however some exposure to vehicle repair or mechanical work is preferred.
Position: 10 Mechanical Assistants or Technicians.
A month consists of 30 days, which equals 12 hours of duty per day (10+2).
Monthly one-day leave.
1700 QR pay + 2 hours overtime.
Qatar offers free food, accommodation, and transportation. However, sponsorship changes are necessary.
